The Neapolitan tradition knows the Babà as The Dessert par excellence of the local pastry.

Babà is a simple dessert, apparently, and he was born in the kitchens of Monsù, the famous cooks of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, and which lends itself to a thousand combinations of taste: with whipped cream, fresh fruit or chocolate.

On the Amalfi Coast, the Babà meets the Limoncello, the typical liqueur made with lemons grown in this area, and the marriage is so successful that these small desserts have become ever-present on our tables.

Perfect after a meal or on an afternoon gluttony, maybe accompanied by a glass of limoncello.
